Breathwork Aftercare

Following a breathwork session, it is very normal to feel the effects in the hours and days after. It is important to be gentle and kind to yourself during this time. 

Please make sure you drink plenty of water, eat nourishing foods, and be kind to yourself.
Grounding exercises bring you into the present moment and help create space between you and difficult emotions.

Aftercare:

  • Drinking plenty of water

  • Eating nourishing foods

  • Getting out into nature (get your bare feet in the grass!)

  • Journaling

  • Gentle stretching/yoga

  • Creating art

  • Talking with loved ones

  • Any self-care that makes you feel good

Some of your experiences, feelings, or thoughts may show up in your dreams. Breathwork can trigger difficult memories, but I invite and encourage you to sit with these. They will pass.
