What is Conscious Connected Breathwork?

Conscious connected breathwork (CCB) is a powerful and profound practice.

A CCB breath has no pauses between the inhales or the exhales, it is a circular breath.
It is a deep active inhale, followed by a passive release on the exhale.
It is a full-body breath, breathing deeply into our chests and abdomen.

It is set apart from other breathwork practices by its activating effect on the body. This style of breathwork allows us to expand our state of consciousness, allowing us to enter into altered states of consciousness. From these states, we can allow anything that is sitting in the unconscious mind or that is trapped in the body to be released. We can tap into the subconscious, allowing our thinking minds a break, and expanding our state of consciousness.

These states offer a unique opportunity for deep emotional and energetic healing

Experiences during CCB range from mind-expanding insight, the release of long-held tension, deep relaxation, feelings of euphoria, the release of trauma and/or stuck emotions, spiritual and divine connection, and many more.

Conscious connected breathwork has many benefits, including reducing feelings of low mood and anxiety, emotional catharsis and regulation, increased energy, and better sleep. Breathwork also helps increase vagal tone, which improves our emotional resilience to situations.

Physical benefits include enhanced immune function, lowered stress and blood pressure, and improved cardiovascular health, including improved heart rate variability (HRV).

Breathwork facilitates connection; connection to our inner selves, enabling the innate healing capacities that we all have within us, releasing physical and emotional blockages, and relieving us of psychosomatic symptoms.
